Twin Tunnels near Mosier

Always remember to share the path, or your car may be flipped over (that horn is powerful)

More lilies than you can shake a stick at!

Mr. Thornsby could live on that island if he wanted to

Grass Widows were everywhere!

Into the light . . .
The trail ended at Double Mountain Brewpub
in Hood River - Mr. Thornsby likes microbrews
and pizza almost as much as thorns.  2 by 4
Anniversary Ale was fine.
This pizza - the Spanish pie - featured Serrano
ham and green onions

Tom McCall Preserve

Black-tailed deer were grazing  - Red-winged Blackbirds were hanging by the pond
Columbia Desert Parsley and Yellow Bells were plentiful at the Preserve today.

25 or more hikes in the Gorge

The first hike - Tom McCall Preserve - with my hiking buddy, Mr. Thornsby.
No dogs allowed, unicorns OK.
